I ❤ Friday

 Today was a great day. 

Before I got my hair cut.

First off I went to get my hair cut from a wonderful new friend. I haven't had my hair cut in around a year since before I left for Guatemala. I also haven't actually been to a hair salon in forever! It was very nice. Anyways, have you ever had that awkward experience of not being able to pay for something and having to go get more money? Because that happened to me at the salon. I thought I had enough for the haircut. At least I went back a bit later though and paid her. It was so awkward I felt so bad! Of course that would happen to me. #brokepeopleproblems.

Chapters haul

I then went to Chapters and did some retail therapy as you can see ^. I clearly don't need a bunch of notebooks but hey, I had a gift card so why not. I'm super excited about the scratch off map in the tube. I have wanted this for a while now and finally got it. Basically it is a map that is covered with that material on those scratch and win tickets (don't know what the material is called). Whenever you go somewhere you scratch away that area and it reveals what is underneath. This is awesome because the more you travel the more filled out and colorful your map will be. This makes me want to travel everywhere though! Maybe one day... I am looking forward to scratching off the places I have already been too though!

After that adventure, I went to the Starbucks to purchase my favorite drink which is the new flat white. A friend was working and we chatted for a bit, he was very proud of the drink he made me, This is probably one of my biggest addictions; caffeine - flat whites to be specific. I wanted to stay and relax in Starbucks for a bit but there was no seating anywhere! I hate that... I would have liked to sit outside as well because it was actually so nice and sunny out, it was even warm like tee shirt weather!

Seeing as my mood is very weather dependent, it honestly doesn't even really matter what else happens today; I'm lovin it. 

Later, my boyfriend surprised me by taking me out to this restaurant I have been wanting to go for a while and it was fantastic! We then headed out to meet up with friends and have a low key night. I personally am a fan of having low key Friday nights with good and fun friends. Yeah parties can be fun but for me that is not an every weekend thing. A few friends, a few drinks, some food, games and a movie and you're set! Solid night.

Hello Friends

So here it is! A new blog; fresh start.

My intentions for this blog aren't necessarily anything specific... So basically for now I will just be blogging anything and everything until I find a niche of sorts. or not, who knows.

I can't even begin to tell you how notorious I am for starting things up and not finishing them, blogs for example... But that is in the past, I am moving on people! So here we are, the launch of [another] new beginning. 

The best is yet to come!
